Right of withdrawal

If you buy a promotion as a consumer, you generally have 14 days to change your mind. This page explains how that works on 5TIN and how to tell us.

When the right applies

The right of withdrawal applies to consumers — people buying outside a trade, business or profession. Paid promotions are the only purchase on 5TIN; ordinary use is free, so nothing else here is affected.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded. You do not have to give a reason.

Starting the promotion during the withdrawal period

A promotion is only useful if it runs, so before paying we ask for two explicit acknowledgements:

I ask 5TIN to start the promotion as soon as my payment is confirmed, during the 14-day withdrawal period.
I understand that if I withdraw after the promotion has started, I may have to pay for the part already provided, and that I lose the right to withdraw once the promotion has been fully provided.

If you withdraw after the promotion has started, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for what was already delivered. Once the promotion has been fully provided, the right to withdraw is lost, because you asked for immediate performance and acknowledged that consequence.

If you do not want the promotion to start during the withdrawal period, simply do not purchase it yet — 5TIN does not currently offer a delayed start.

What happens when you withdraw

Promoted delivery stops as soon as your notice is recorded, and the post returns to ordinary organic distribution. Nothing is deleted and no moderation decision changes.

Any refund or proportional charge is then determined and, where due, processed through the payment provider back to the original payment method. 5TIN does not calculate or confirm refunds on this page; you will be told the outcome.
